Open egg: concept based design in another window

I don't really understand those who would say that a student portfolio isn't worth anything after 5 years in a professional career. At 25 years old, I guess my student work is still fresh and relevant in my mind. It represents learning in every aspect of design, and a freedom to create without the constraints of budget, time (unless you count the hours I spent up until 4 am creating the work), or anyone else's sensibilities. My goal is not to bury my student work in my attic, but rather to get it all online someday so that I may point to that aspect of my life and work as a building block to my career. And since the Internet will slowly become the medium that defines each and every one of us, I am hoping to keep a document of my past work in some virtual place for everyone to see.
